SARAH FERGUSON, PRINCE ANDREW HEADLINES OVER SHADOW QUEEN VICTORIA EXHIBIT - Broadway To Vegas column May 23, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/May23,2010.html

A dumb blonde has nothing on Fergie. She's one dumb redhead. Didn't anybody ever teach her that men don't respect women who really fall in love with them? They want the women who say 'Prove your love by giving me your money. Give me. Do for me' Fergie was stupid. She was so determine to prove that she really loved Andrew that she didn't go after his money. The Royal Family doesn't respect her because she let them walk all over her. It was wrong for her to try to sell access to her ex-husband, but it's really his fault. If she had been treated well, this wouldn't have happened. So she got her toe sucked. What's was the big deal? Diana had lovers. Diana died respected because she demanded money. Fergie is treated like a fool because she didn't place a value on her services. Let that be a lesson. Don't ever give away your heart. Rent it, but don't ever give it away.

VICTORIA AND ALBERT EXHIBIT IN LONDON OVERSHADOWED BY THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF YORK - Broadway To Vegas column May 23, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/May23,2010.html

Plan a trip to London next month and will see this exhibit. In the meantime I'm watching
the Fergie and Andy soap opera.. Fergie may be a show-off and financially incompetent of managing a dime, but that off-the-wall spontaneity is part of her personality that caused Randy Andy to fall for her.
Just because you no longer love somebody doesn't mean you let them fall down a well. The man is suppose to take care of the woman. The man plays, he pays. He should have provided her with a cost of living settlement and then insisted that somebody else manage it for her. Then something like this wouldn't have happened. If they aren't smart enough to know that, then why is that family ruling a country?

VICTORIA & ALBERT: ART & LOVE EXHIBITION BRINGS COMMENTS CRITICIZING PRINCE ANDREW - Broadway To Vegas column - May 23, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/May23,2010.html

The public should stop being so hard on Sarah Ferguson. Any man who has taken up 10 years of a woman's time owes her. If HM had agreed to a proper settlement, this never would have happened. Queen Victoria wouldn't have stood for her Albert being mistreated. No difference here. Married or not, divorced or not, if you ever loved someone and then toss them out and ignore their welfare, what does that say about you? Shame on Prince Andrew.

MAKING MONEY BY LAUNCHING BROADWAY SHOWS Broadway to Vegas article April 11, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/April11,2010.html

This article is very helpful to aspiring playwrights in providing an explanation and some reliable figures on how productions get started. Never realized that the writer cuts a percentage deal and then might have to pay royalties to others out of his/her percentage. Creative writing classes don't teach that aspect of the business.
The Florida and Los Angeles comments backed up each other - that's important for aspiring playwrights to know that what happens is the same on both coasts.
