Some people have money alive or dead. Michael Jackson's new record deal and custom made furniture for a house he needed because of a tour. People with talent get rewarded more than they deserve. Then so many of them think they are worth it. I'm just trying to pay my bills.

Controversy about Robert Kennedy's clothing removed from exhibit - Broadway To Vegas column February 28, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/February28,2010.html

Was this controversy orchestrated by NBC? As a fan of murder cases, I was surprised to learn of this exhibit. In researching around, your Broadway To Vegas interview with Det. Dennis Kilcoyne was the first to quote him about any possible controversy with exhibiting the Robert F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe artifacts. Your article quotes Det. Kilcoyne saying they had to garner "the cooperation of the Superior Court in LA County and the LA County District Attorney's office" before those articles could be displayed. Your byline says February 28, 2010. Kilcoyne is also quoted as saying "The Today Show" interview would be taped on Monday (March 1 ) for airing on Tuesday (March 2). It was only a few hours after "The Today Show" ended that the controversy started. It takes more than a few hours to get a good fight going with the press ready to cover the details. Did "The Today Show" contact the Kennedy family on Monday, a day before they aired their own interview?

GOOD FATHER WAYNE NEWTON IN SERIOUS FINANCIAL TROUBLE -Broadway To Vegas column - February 21, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/February21,2010.html
Wayne Newton has an awful track record of paying his bills. He completely deserves the consequences.. However, give him credit for being one of the best show business fathers that ever lived. He's been a star since he was a kid and he could have grown into the everybody-should-pay-attention-to-me-father, but he didn't. Other celebrities use their family, including trying to extract sympathy and understanding when
any member has a tragedy. Wayne has always put fatherhood ahead of his career and he's never used his family to try to gain favor or sympathy from the public. He doesn't jump in front television cameras to whine about his problems. What happened to his daughter in childbirth had nothing to do with Wayne's parenting skills. God bless him and Erin.

We had a wonderful time in Las Vegas and enjoyed the dances and events and special foods. If you can't be in San Francisco, then I would recommend people visit Las Vegas during Chinese New Years

I can't take the time to read a romance novel, but I can watch my soaps. A lot of the new faces are terrific, but the older ones need to be there more than they are. It's like the aunt or older sister or brother. They may not be there every single day, but you want them in your lives. Bring back Dr. John Dixon. They get good actors like Larry Bryggman and then they lose them because they don't want to pay what they are worth.

VIEWERS MISS LONG TIME AS THE WORLD TURNS CAST MEMBERS - Broadway To Vegas column of November 22, 2009

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/November22,2009.html

I'm home on maternity leave. I'm not old. I like the original characters. I also like a lot of the new ones. But, the original ones have a special charm. Shame on us for being such a thrown away society and a country that loves youth and doesn't respect age and wisdom.
I want to see more of Nancy Hughes, Liza and Dr. Bob. Let Liza get involved or meddle.

I saw the play in New York and it's great. Must have been some misunderstanding. Hard to believe that Eason knew that children as young as 12 were in the audience.

VIVA ELVIS TO OPEN IN LAS VEGAS - Broadway To Vegas column of November 8, 2009

How interesting that this opens on his birthday, which is the same time as Elvis' birthday week in Memphis. That Presley estate sure knows how to capitalize on the dead.
