HEALTH CARE AND THE ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY - Broadway To Vegas column March 28, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/March28,2010.html

Thank you, Laura. I'm sure as these medical care and insurance reforms roll out there will be many questions as to how it will work at "street level." Your focus on the arts and entertainment end of it is much appreciated.

Interesting exhibit. In our current age of E-mail and texting - mostly in code words and abbreviations, the art of letter writing is disappearing. This exhibit shows the importance of letters.

MICHAEL JACKSON AUCTION - Broadway To Vegas column -March 14, 2010

Some people have money alive or dead. Michael Jackson's new record deal and custom made furniture for a house he needed because of a tour. People with talent get rewarded more than they deserve. Then so many of them think they are worth it. I'm just trying to pay my bills.

CRIME SCENE EXHIBIT AT THE PALMS - Broadway To Vegas column of February 28, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/February28,2010.html

The crime scene exhibit of murders at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas was excellent. Nothing was displayed in a "casino." Nothing was put on top of any slot machines. A fancy, expensive museum couldn't have done a better job.

Controversy about Robert Kennedy's clothing removed from exhibit - Broadway To Vegas column February 28, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/February28,2010.html

Was this controversy orchestrated by NBC? As a fan of murder cases, I was surprised to learn of this exhibit. In researching around, your Broadway To Vegas interview with Det. Dennis Kilcoyne was the first to quote him about any possible controversy with exhibiting the Robert F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe artifacts. Your article quotes Det. Kilcoyne saying they had to garner "the cooperation of the Superior Court in LA County and the LA County District Attorney's office" before those articles could be displayed. Your byline says February 28, 2010. Kilcoyne is also quoted as saying "The Today Show" interview would be taped on Monday (March 1 ) for airing on Tuesday (March 2). It was only a few hours after "The Today Show" ended that the controversy started. It takes more than a few hours to get a good fight going with the press ready to cover the details. Did "The Today Show" contact the Kennedy family on Monday, a day before they aired their own interview?

ROBERT F. KENNEDY ASSASSINATION CLOTHES REMOVED FROM LAS VEGAS EXHIBIT - Broadway To Vegas column - February 28, 2010

http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/February28,2010.html

The Robert Kennedy portion of the exhibit was done in very good taste and had significant, historical importance. It is a shame that "The Today Show" anchors in New York, who didn't actually see the exhibit, put an off-putting spin to their report.
